Bangladesh Online was incorporated in Bangladesh in November 3, 1996 under the Companies Act, 1994 as a Public Limited Company. It commenced its commercial operation on December 1, 1999. The company became a listed company in 2000.

The shares of the Company are traded in Dhaka and Chittagong Stock Exchanges of Bangladesh.
