How to retrieve the mailboxes & Address book of Eudora / Outlook Express / Microsoft Outlook?

Eudora:

All mailboxes keep in Eudora directory where Eudora.exe file running. Each mailbox should save two file like as mbx and toc file (IN box -> in.mbx & in.toc ). By default it creates IN, OUT, JUNK & TRASH boxes. If you create a new mail box then it save automatically in Eudora directory.

Address book file name is NNdbase ( NNdbase.txt + NNdbase.toc).

By default it is not created. After save an address it creates automatically in the Eudora directory.

Outlook Express:

All mailboxes keep in the Outlook Express directory. The way to get directory:
Click Tools - Options - Maintenance - Store Folder.

Mailbox name extension " .dbx ".

"C:\Documents and Settings\ Client PC Profile Name \Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{F8A9D3DB-5E21-4F81-A907-4A914037AACB}\Microsoft\Outlook Express"

e.g.: Client PC Name - Administrator.

Address book keeps in a file which extension " .wab " with the name of current user profile. Here administrator is the current user profile.

" C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Microsoft\Address Book"

Microsoft outlook:
All mailboxes keep in one file "Outlook.pst". Way to get directory:

Click Tools - Option - other - Auto archive. File name extension is " .pst "

" C:\Documents and Settings\ Client PC Profile Name \Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\"

e.g.: Client PC Name - Administrator

Sort Note:-

· Toc and mbx are the Eudora mailbox files name.

NNdbase files are the Eudora address book files.

· Dbx is the file name of Outlook Express mailbox.

wab files are the Outlook Express address book files.

· pst is the file name of re Microsoft Outlook mailbox.
